Always. Direct bookings get our best available rate, the most flexible cancellation terms, and first priority on room requests. If you ever find a lower public rate for the same room and dates, write to us before you book it — we'll take care of you.

Luis Muñoz Marín (SJU) is about 15 minutes by car. Rideshare runs $18–25; we also arrange private transfers for $45 each way — add one to your booking and your driver will be waiting with your name.

59 TAFT sits on a walking street more than a driving one — most guests never need a car. If you bring one: on-street parking on Calle Taft and the surrounding blocks, plus paid lots within a five-minute walk. Ask at check-in and we'll point you to the best current option.

Yes, and we mean it literally: the saltwater pool is maintained daily and open 8:00 AM–10:00 PM, every day, with teak loungers and towels at the ready. It serves our fourteen rooms only, so it never feels like a scene. Quiet hours after 9:00 PM; no glass on the pool deck; children swim with an adult present.

The open-air kitchen — fridge, cooktop, sink, dishware — is yours from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. House rules are the ones a good roommate keeps: label what you store, wash what you use, and leave the counter the way the tile deserves. For anything beyond coffee and a poolside lunch, remember your two best kitchens are across the street.

Every room has individual climate control and fast fiber Wi-Fi that reaches the courtyard. The signal survives video calls; whether your vacation should is between you and your calendar.

Room CAL is our ADA room: step-free route, transfer-height queen, accessible bath with grab bars, widened clearances. The courtyard, pool deck, and front entrance are on the accessible route. Email us and we'll walk you through the details before you book.

Children are welcome — our Bahía Doble rooms sleep four comfortably, and the calm end of Ocean Park is the best kids' beach in the city. We're not able to host pets, with the exception of documented service animals, out of care for a small shared courtyard.

The hotel and courtyard are smoke-free. We'll point you to a spot outside the gate.

10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in rooms and courtyard. It's a fourteen-room house; sound carries kindly, so we keep it kind.

One block. Walk out the front door, turn toward the water, and you're on the quiet end of Ocean Park Beach in about two minutes — the calm, swimmable stretch locals pick on purpose. Beach towels are included with every room; reserved chair-and-cooler kits are $15/day.

You don't go far. Café Regina (coffee, mornings) and Hilda (the most original sandwiches in San Juan) are directly across the street — thirty seconds, door to counter. Calle Loíza, one of the city's great food streets, starts at the end of our block. Old San Juan's dining is a 10–12 minute drive. Our desk keeps a current, opinionated list.

Ocean Park and Condado are among San Juan's most walkable, most visited neighborhoods, and our corner stays lively into the evening thanks to the cafés and Loíza's restaurants. Use the same city sense you'd use anywhere: stick to lit streets late, don't leave phones on beach towels, and ask us anything — honest local guidance is part of the job.
