Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is close to the city's beach neighborhoods. From the airport to 59 TAFT on Calle Taft is roughly 15 minutes by car in normal traffic.
Rideshare
Rideshare is the easiest option for most guests. Expect roughly $18–25 to our door, depending on demand. Follow the airport signs to the rideshare pickup area.
Taxi
Official taxis wait outside arrivals. Confirm the fare with the dispatcher or driver before you set off.
Private transfer
If you'd rather be met, we arrange private transfers for $45 each way — add one to your booking and your driver will be waiting with your name.
Do you need a rental car?
For a city stay, probably not. Our block is made for walking: the beach, coffee, lunch and Calle Loíza's restaurants are all within a few minutes on foot, and Old San Juan is a short ride. If you plan day trips to El Yunque or the east coast, a car for a day or two makes sense; there's on-street parking around Calle Taft and paid lots within a five-minute walk.
Arriving early or leaving late?
